Piping Hot June
(June 17, 2014)Our outdoor playing season is off to a flying start.
Well done and thanks to the pipers, drummers and dancers who made the Wigston Scouts Summer Gala and the Warton Carnival a huge success.
The Carnival, with a long, hilly march in very hot and humid conditions was a great test of stamina and with the help of the very organised Carnival officials handing out lots of water, we all made it around.
Thanks again to our dancers who all looked stunning in their brightly coloured outfits, a lovely deviation from our traditional green.
