Remembrance Sunday 2013
(November 10, 2013)As always, the band had a fine turnout for Remembrance Sunday. We were extremely lucky with the weather, what with clear skies after a week of almost torrential rain!
After leading the main parade of cadets, TA personnel, police and scouts up to the Victoria Park memorial, the band peeled off to St Stephen's church to lay wreaths at the Seaforth Highlanders memorial. The band then returned to Victoria Park to mark 2 minutes silence at the war memorial.
Special mention must be made for the Pipe Major for an excellent lament and Piper Helen Bozon for sounding the bugle.
