Monday June 21st.
Piper to perform at Leicester Town Hall for the raising of the Armed Forces flag. 10.30am.
Saturday June 26th 2010.
National Armed Forces Day. Service at Leicester Cathedral followed by a parade to Town Hall Square Leicester. Service will commence at 1100 hrs, parade to form up 1200hrs. March off 1215 hrs.
Saturday & Sunday June 26th & 27th.
Band and dancers to France for parade and performance. Leaving directly from Leicester City Centre to catch late Eurotunnel from Dover.
Saturday & Sunday July 10th & 11th 2010.
Rempstone Steam and Country Show. Held at Turnpost Farm, nr Wymeswold, Leics.
A two day festival featuring dozens of working traction engines and steam powered machinery and a showcase of rural activities. Website www.rempstonesteam.org.

Pipefest in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, Edinburgh. Thousands of pipers and drummers from around the world will descend on the city to march en masse from the Castle Mound, through the streets to raise funds for charity. Website www.pipefest.com/.

The Sutton Bonington Show, held in the village of Sutton Bonington, nr. Loughborough, Leicestershire. Website www.suttonboningtonshow.co.uk.

Airborne Memorial Parade and Service to commemorate those who took part in the Arnhem landings of WWII. Parade through the village of Somerby, nr. Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire and service at Somerby Church. Tune up 9.15am.
Saturday October 9th.
Joint Ceilidh with the Seaforth Highlanders and the Hathern Playgroup, Hathern Community Centre. Details to follow.
Sunday November 14th 2010.
Remembrance Day parade and service. 10.20 lead Leicester's main delegation from DeMontfort Hall, Leicester to Victoria Park cenotaph. Seaforth's will parade to St.Stephen's Church, DeMontfort Street for service at 10.45. Return to the cenotaph at 11.45 to collect city parade and lead the march past. Seaforth's will then return to the cenotaph to lay their own wreaths.
