1. New Practice Night

   Following a successful trial I am delighted to invite all experienced musicians to an additional practice on Fridays at Birstall Social Club at 7.30pm. This session will give invaluable extra playing time in the build up to our summer season.

   This week has also seen the launch of our new Facebook page, (see home page for a link), and the very welcome return of Bruce Meadows in his new role as band Drum Major. 

2. Joint Practice

   Thanks to all the band who attended a joint practice with the Ashby Concert Band last night.

   The tunes for our anniversary concert are coming on really well, they will sound awesome by October! Don't forget to book your tickets early to ensure the best seats.
